Sam Leach was going to show the world that Liverpool’s Big Beat Sound was good enough to surpass even the mighty Elvis. With the Beatles and a dozen hot bands under his wing, he was ready to take on the world. He wasn’t prepared, however, for so many setbacks in both love and war, tribulations that would test his resolve until John Lennon’s death in 1980. As organizer of Liverpool’s vigil for John Lennon, Sam gets one last chance to prove to himself (and the world) that he isn’t a failure after all.
